PentecostBlog09[1]

It is the Holy Spirit who assists us to know and discover our vocation in life and what marvelous plan God has set for us.

Hence we beg the Holy Spirit to assist, guide and direct us, as we slowly learn what God’s will is for us.

The Holy Spirit may speak to us when we read the Scriptures, or in our prayer and also through the experiences and sufferings of life.

The Holy Spirit may also speak through our family members,  parishioners and the people we meet every day.

Our job is to be open and ready to listen as the Holy Spirit works in our lives, so we may become bewildered, amazed and astonished, just like those who heard the Apostles speaking for the first time at Pentecost, (Acts 2:1-11) so we discover God’s special plan for each of us, our vocation in life.

Prayer to the Holy Spirit

Come Holy Spirit, enlighten my heart,

and assist me to discover my vocation

so I may  clearly know what special plan God has set for me,

and how He wants me to serve Him. Amen.

Kind regards and God bless
