St Joseph is an inspiring figure and a wonderful example for men who are discerning their vocations.

He is called a “Just Man.” He knew exactly how to treat Our Lady fairly, when she had conceived a child out of wedlock.

St Joseph was open he did what the Angel told him to do from his dream.

He carried out the job entrusted to him, of caring for Jesus and Mary. He is the head of the Holy Family.

St Joseph may be silent in the Scriptures, but he surely is not silent with his adopted Son, who longs to hear from his father.

Today we entrust all men who are discerning their vocations and our seminarians to the prayers and care of St Joseph.

St Joseph pray for us.
