In our vocation God uses our gifts for his glory, and an excellent example of this comes from St Charles Borromeo.

During the Council of Trent, St Charles kept the Council together and on track behind the scene through his intellect which God had gifted him.

When we decide to explore our vocation, God will use our gifts for the good of the Church. Your trade, life experiences and natural abilities which you bring to your vocation, (the Priesthood, Religious Life or Marriage) are the gifts that God will use. It is wonderful how God works through our talents and gifts.

It also reminds us that each calling is unique and there is no such thing as a perfect vocation. We are all different and God uses us for his purpose and for his good just as he used St Charles to assist the Church with the Council of Trent.
