Before Jesus ascended into heaven, he gave the Apostles the mission for the Church – to go and make disciples, to baptise in the name of the Trinity and to teach. The feast of the Ascension of The Lord reminds us once again of Jesus’ final instructions.(Matthew 28:16-20)

We are all called to be part of this mission, especially men who are discerning a vocation to the Priesthood.

We don’t become Priests for ourselves. We become Priests to carry out the mission of the Church- to make disciples, to baptise and teach. If this is what you want to do, then you need to seriously discern a vocation to the Priesthood.

Kind regards and God bless
